V-belts

Pazvari qayışlar

V-belts are designed to transmit torque between the driving and driven shafts through friction on their side surfaces. This is one of the most common methods of power transmission and has a number of advantages. The transmission of mechanical energy to actuating mechanisms via V-belts has a wide range of applications. V-belt drives are widely used in industry, machine building, agriculture and the automotive industry.

The cross-section of these belts has the shape of an isosceles trapezoid. The working surfaces of the belt are its side surfaces. The belts run in the trapezoidal grooves of two or more pulleys. The transmission of rotation from one pulley to another occurs thanks to the friction force generated between the side surfaces of the tensioned belt and the side surfaces of the pulley grooves.

Advantages of V-belts:
Quiet and vibration-free operation
High elasticity and durability
Easy installation and operation
Protection against overload
Wide range of use in various operating conditions

Thanks to these characteristics, belt drives are used in many industries as a reliable and efficient power transmission solution.
